Rudy Curtler
Rudy has been in real estate investing for over 10 years. After years of investing in single family homes, Rudy wanted to diversify into another real estate option. He assumed that option would be apartments, but quickly found that many of the apartments in his area were owned by a few local investors and also required a LOT of regular maintenance and upkeep. The limited opportunity combined with the high level of expenses just didn’t make sense.
After learning about mobile home parks, he knew he couldn’t go wrong. Mobile homes are typically owned which means you aren’t dealing with tenants coming and going as frequently as you do with renters, and homeowners have responsibility for their own home maintenance– meaning less expenses and effort for the property managers and investors. The very first mobile home park that Rudy invested in is still bringing in strong returns to this day.
Mike Samson
Mike is the people person of the operations at Sawgrass. Mike has extensive experience working with investors and in multi-unit leadership, which is why he will be managing park management in order to maintain the improvements made to the parks. Having grown up in a mobile home himself, Mike has a personal passion for seeing undervalued parks receive improvements and ensuring access to quality and affordable housing for those who need it.
Allan Austreim
Allan has been in real estate investing for over 10 years. His first investment was a single family home which was turned into a rental property. He later was introduced to the idea of investing in mobile home parks by his realtor. Allan’s realtor had made a career in the mobile home park industry, so he was more than happy to provide guidance and mentorship on what to look for in a mobile home park that would provide the most gain. Since then, Allan has gained years of experience with investing in mobile home parks and has a proven track record for the returns that he is continuously able to achieve.
